Mr. Robin Kerremans

Robin grew up in Belgium where he studied at the Catholic University of Leuven. Here he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering as well as his Masters in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology. As a postgraduate, Robin spent some time working with IMEC, a research and development company active in nanoelectronics and life science technology. In 2017, Robin joined the Sêr SAM team and enriched the group with his expertise in optical modelling, perovskites, and data analysis.

Robin has published papers on an alternative method to Ellipsometry which uses Transmission measurements to derive a material’s optical constants, and on the in-depth optical and electrical properties of perovskites. He is currently working on the modelling of cavity effects in Emission measurements

In his spare time, Robin enjoys rock climbing and playing board games.
