Official Press Release for CISM Project

On Monday 07 September, the official press release for the Centre for Integrative Semiconductor Materials (CISM) went live on the Swansea University website. CISM will be a £30M state-of-the-art facility housed at the Swansea University Bay Campus. Kier has been appointed to execute the build, with action already happening on site. CISM is due for completion in 2022 and will be a hub for vital research and innovation for the CSConnected Cluster and other regional semiconductor industry partners including IQE, SPTS Technologies and Newport Wafer Fab.

This announcement was long awaited and is certainly a bit of good news during an otherwise uncertain time. We are very excited to be close partners with this project and look forward to following the build itself as well as the success to follow! Click HERE to read the full press release. Until next time, Sêr SAM
