Driving the Electric Revolution award of £4.8m to Swansea University

Swansea University has been given an award of £4.8m in UK Government funding to create more efficient power electronics for homes, transportation, and industry to help deliver on the nation’s net zero ambitions. The award is part of Driving the Electric Revolution (DER), which is in turn a part of the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund led by UK Research and Innovation. In total, DER is investing £28.5 million into cutting-edge equipment across the country.
