Nasim Zarrabi
Nasim was born in the beautiful and historical city of Qazvin, Iran, where she completed her undergradraduate studies in Physics at Imam Khomeini International University. She then relocated to Australia, where she started her research career at the University of Queensland as a Research Assistant in the Centre for Organic Photonics and Electronics (COPE) for two years. This position prepared Nasim for her next challenge - starting her PhD studies at Swansea University. Her research is currently focused on understanding the fundamental aspects of electro-optical
properties of disordered semiconductors that can be exploited towards designing more efficient organic photovoltaic cells/detectors.
